Multi-Function Button Box memory error fix

Symptoms

The Multi-Function Button Box memory is reset causing the computer not to recognize the box. The lights on the box come on and is turned of in a few seconds.

The fix

We need to get a new firmware read to the button box.

First we need to download the bootloader and firmware. It can be found here.

Next, the box has to be set in bootloader state. Do this by holding A/P and TCN in the same time, then quickly press and release ON OFF. This has to be done immediately after the box is pluggad in, before the light goes out.

If you did it right, the lights on the box should be flashing.

Now we need to install the new firmware.
